SPOILER-ISH AHEAD!!

The episode begins at a sugar refinery where Donna’s apron gets caught in a milling machine, bringing her closer and closer to the milling’s teeth. Her friend Bobby attempts to release her from machine, but isn’t successful. More employees hurry over to help until Donna is finally free from the machine.

Just as soon as Donna thinks she’s safe, the workers hear another noise coming from the mill. Suddenly, a rolling ball of fire starts cascading towards them. As the workers run for their lives one worker falls to the ground, crawling for dear life. Horatio and Eric appear to help the man to safety.

SPOILER-ISH AHEAD!!

This episode brings back an old nemesis of Horatio and Eric’s. Meemo Fierro, the man who shot and killed Marisol has escaped from prison. Memmo steals a boat in the marina and beaches it near an area where his girlfriend lives. At first it seems he is just fleeing but Memmo contacts Horatio and says he has a score settle.

Turns out Memmo is not only looking for revenge against Horatio and Eric for putting him away but also for his daughter who has been taken away from her biological mother b/c of either neglect or harm and he is paving a path of destruction in order to do it….killing the case worker who placed his daughter with a foster family as well as a young couple who happened to have the means for him to escape.

Anything on how Eddie Cibrian will be written off of ‘CSI: Miami‘? – Tami
Since you apparently missed this story that quite bluntly reveals Jesse Cardoza’s fate, I’ll offer this sanitized version from Eva La Rue (aka Natalia): “In the season premiere, we lose Eddie Cibrian.” Turning to the bigger picture – that is, ‘Miami’s new Sunday time slot – Eva believes it could prove to be a better, more DVR-proof fit for the show’s fans. “It’s going to really interesting to see how they cover up Emily Procter’s pregnancy, Adam Rodriguez (Eric) is back…. There are a lot of good reasons to watch.”

What have you heard about Calleigh and Delko’s relationship on CSI: Miami? — Chelsea
ADAM: Sounds like it will be more of the same for Calleighko, who ended last season in a place of uncertainty. But co-executive producer Barry O’Brien suggests the new season will provide clarity — eventually. “There may be some new elements that threaten their future together,” he says. “You can look to Season 9 to clearly define their relationship, but we’re going to take them on quite a journey first.”

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD FOR CSI: MIAMI!!

The executive producers of CSI: Miami have revealed that the relationship between Calleigh and Eric will “evolve”.

Marc Dube told Entertainment Weekly that the pair, played by Emily Procter and Adam Rodriguez, will think about the future of their romance.

“They will spend some time assessing their relationship,” he said. “It could go either way… but Delko’s return is about getting back to being a CSI. He missed it.”

Meanwhile, executive producer Barry O’Brien suggested that he is still unsure about the future of the romance.

“You may see that relationship evolve in a way that surprises even us, the writers,” he said. “We’re kind of letting it grow right now on its own.”

CSI: Miami returns for a new season on October 3 on CBS.

Jovanni in Santa Fe, N.M.: Any word on how long Adam Rodriguez will be back on CSI: Miami?
As a matter of fact, we just caught up with the studly star on the set of the CBS hit, and got some majorly good news. Just how long will Adam stick around CSI: Miami? “‘Til the wheels fall off I imagine.” Woot-woot! “I left and came back to round out the character and in doing that, everybody decided it was best to come together again. We did that, so off to a new start now, season nine. It was nice to get a breather and come back recharged and sort of ready to take it on all again in a new way.” And it’s equally nice to have you back.

CBS announced the fall start dates for its primetime lineup today, which includes new time slots for Survivor and CSI: Miami. NCIS: LA will have a two-hour premiere and the start of The Amazing Race will run for 90 minutes. See the schedule after the jump.
